Role Summary
The Mentor Inclusion Worker will play a vital role in supporting the social and emotional development of children and young people. The focus of the role is to help individuals build positive social interactions, improve cooperative play skills, and raise self-esteem and confidence.
You will work closely with vulnerable pupils to support behavioural change, improve attitudes to learning, and promote engagement in education through consistent, nurturing, and supportive 1-to-1 interventions.
Organisation Summary
Our client works with some of the most vulnerable Year 1 to Year 11 pupils across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, and North East Derbyshire. They provide an alternative pastoral provision aimed at engaging pupils who are excluded, at risk of exclusion, or awaiting SEN placements.
Their approach is centred on positive relationships, individualised support, and helping young people re-engage with learning in a safe and supportive environment.
