Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a Data Protection or Privacy leadership role Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation, with exposure to international regulations advantageous Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E and/or CIPM Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Experience managing competing priorities within a complex environment A collaborative approach with the ability to drive cultural change Responsibilities: Leading and developing data protection strategy in line with regulatory requirements Acting as the subject matter expert on UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and relevant international frameworks Building strong relationships across the business to promote a culture of privacy and compliance Overseeing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and advising on risk mitigation Managing data breach processes, including response, reporting, and continuous improvement Developing and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and notices Ensuring appropriate data sharing agreements are in place Delivering training and awareness programmes across the organisation Leading and mentoring a small data protection team Technologies: Security More: We are a leading professional services organisation based in Bristol, seeking an experienced Data Protection Manager to shape and embed a robust data privacy framework across our business.
