Job Description
Duration and Reporting
3. Duration: 3-6 months (depending on pace and availability of data)
4. Reporting to and strategic oversight: Finance Director
5. Key relationships: People & Culture, Operations, Housing / Property, Commissioning
Project Portfolio (Summary)The postholder will:
6. Review of Contracts:
7. Review of financial terms of our contracts
8. Documenting a financial summary of the contract
9. Checking invoicing is occurring per the contract terms (and has over the contract to date)
10. Reviewing costs allocated to the contract, are we providing the service as described (from a financial perspective)
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Project Finance Business Partner should have:
11. Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience in complex financial analysis
12. Strong experience in financial analysis using contracts, leases, grant agreements, and formal documentation as primary data sources
13. Proven ability to:Attribute costs accuratelyIdentify cross-subsidy and unfunded liabilitiesProduce Board-ready assurance outputs
14. High level of professional judgement, independence, and analytical rigour
Desirable
15. Experience within:Supported housingTemporary accommodationCommissioned services
16. Knowledge of:Service chargesHousing Benefit / enhanced Housing BenefitAgency management agreements with Registered Social Landlords
17. Experience working in regulated or publicly funded environments
