Requirements
The duties of the position involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member regarding Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council.
Note: PVG records are regularly updated. Any relevant information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.
Responsibilities

The Individual
This is a full-time, temporary position based at Loudoun Academy, Galston, until 30 January 2026. The role involves 35 hours per week, scheduled at the line manager's discretion. The salary range is between £40,305 and £50,589 per annum.
