Tangent International are urgently looking for a Network Rail Accredited Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) to work a 12 month rolling contract based in United Kingdom (Remote)
My client is seeking two highly skilled and Network Rail accredited Contractor’s Responsible Engineers (CREs) to provide essential technical representation and engineering expertise for the Network Rail contract.
These roles are critical for enabling the client’s direct delivery, ensuring technical compliance.
The successful candidates will be instrumental in driving project progress, supporting certification efforts, and navigating the operational complexities of railway network projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Mandatory: Current and Valid Network Rail CRE Accreditation.
* Proven experience as a Contractor’s Responsible Engineer (CRE) on Network Rail projects.
* Solid technical background and practical experience in railway network engineering.
* Thorough understanding of Network Rail's technical specifications, operational procedures, and safety critical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Representation: Serve as a key technical representative on the Network Rail contract, ensuring client’s engineering interests are effectively communicated and upheld.
* Engineering Design & Review: Participate in and contribute to engineering design, review, and approval processes, ensuring adherence to Network Rail standards and project specifications.
* On-site Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise on-site as required, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring smooth project execution.
* Compliance & Assurance: Assist the CEM in ensuring all technical aspects of the project comply with Network Rail's technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with Network Rail and internal teams.
* Support Certification: Actively support the process of achieving necessary certifications for project deliverables and internal resources.
* Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Mentor and guide employees, sharing practical knowledge, technical skills, and insights into Network Rail processes to support their development and future accreditation.
**This will be a Remote position with occasional visits to Reading or London office as needed.
