We are currently looking for a Site Engineering Manager to join our rapidly growing business in Selsey, West Sussex. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead a team of engineers that manage and maintain the latest production technology within the food industry.
You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for driving strategy and delivering continuous improvement to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing a team of engineers
* Overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the site‑based engineering department
* Continuous improvement of engineering practices, standards and projects
* Legionella management
* Efficient use of energy resources, including reduction initiatives
* Environmental compliance management
* Ensuring buildings, plant and equipment are safe in design and operation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in a fast‑paced industrial engineering environment
* People‑management experience
* Solid understanding of health and safety legislation
* Strong multi‑skilled technical abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* IT literacy
* Team‑player mindset
* Recognised electrical qualification
