We are currently supporting the appointment of a senior Regional Quality Assurance Pharmacist to provide authoritative GMP leadership across aseptic compounding services and cleanroom programmes. This is a rare strategic-level opportunity for a highly experienced aseptic GMP specialist who operates with regulatory authority and senior stakeholder credibility. The Role Reporting to the Vice-President (Compounding Services), you will operate at regional/system level and act as the recognised subject matter authority for aseptic GMP compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide regional QA leadership for aseptic compounding and cleanroom services Act as SME for PIC/S GMP, EU GMP Annex 1, USP and USP Lead review and approval of User Requirement Specifications (URS) Provide expert input into cleanroom design (zoning, HVAC, pressure cascades, workflow) Oversee validation strategy (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) and Validation Master Plans Lead and support MHRA inspection readiness and regulatory engagement Provide oversight of environmental monitoring and contamination control strategy Review and approve change controls, deviations and CAPAs Act as GMP interface between Pharmacy, Estates, Engineering and contractors Mentor senior pharmacy and QA leaders in aseptic governance About You You will bring significant professional credibility and regulatory judgement, including: MPharm / BPharm (PharmD desirable) Registered Pharmacist eligible to practise in the UK 10 years’ experience within aseptic compounding facilities Senior-level QA / governance leadership experience Strong knowledge of PIC/S GMP & EU GMP Annex 1 Experience in cleanroom build, refurbishment or validation Experience supporting or leading regulatory inspections (MHRA desirable) Why This Role Matters This is not a routine QA appointment.
