Overview
SF Engineering are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Electro-Mechanical Engineer to support our engineering client based in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance, certification, and documentation activities, while also contributing to engineering and business improvement projects across the organisation. The successful candidate must have had some exposure to Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance, Certification & Governance
- Support the Compliance Manager in maintaining company compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation, certification renewals, and corrective action tracking.
- Maintain compliance registers, logs, and tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support the review, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal compliance procedures.
Project & Continuous Improvement Support
- Assist with compliance-related and operational improvement projects across engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Coordinate project documentation, timelines, actions, and progress updates.
- Support project planning activities, including data gathering, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, documentation control, and compliance outcomes.
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain and control technical documentation, manuals, procedures, and records.
- Prepare reports, project updates, meeting minutes, and formal correspondence.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation support to internal teams.
- Carry out general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and coordination tasks.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, quality, operations, and commercial teams to gather technical and compliance information.
- Provide flexible administrative and project support across departments when required.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Electro-mechanical Engineering degree
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident working with documentation, data, and administrative systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn compliance, certification, and project processes.
