This role requires a confident, polished hospitality leader with a strong restaurant management background and an excellent understanding of wine, capable of inspiring the team whilst maintaining the warmth and personality that defines truly memorable dining.
Restaurant Director Ideal Profile:
* A proven background in high-end restaurant management within fine dining environments
* Strong wine knowledge with the ability to confidently guide guests and support the sommelier team
* A natural leader who motivates, mentors and develops front of house professionals
* Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, payroll and performance targets
* Calm, composed and solutions-focused under pressure
* Lead and oversee the entire front of house operation ensuring impeccable service standards
* Work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver a seamless and cohesive dining experience
* Drive team performance through training, coaching and structured development
* Maintain and elevate wine service standards, supporting pairings and guest recommendations
* Manage rotas, staffing levels and departmental costs in line with business objectives
* Ensure compliance with all operational policies and hospitality best practice
