Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Principal Performance and Commercial Officer to support the effective management of our Performance and Projects function, acting as the deputy to the Performance and Projects Manager. This is a key role within Planning and Sustainable Growth, driving transformation, service improvement, and innovative approaches to ensure we deliver efficient, resident-focused services.
About The Role
* The Principal Performance and Commercial Officer will:
* Act as deputy to the Performance and Projects Manager, helping to deliver team plans and service targets.
* Use data analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance and drive service improvements.
* Lead cross-cutting initiatives, including the digitalisation of services and process innovation.
* Provide governance and reporting on service delivery to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Support effective budget monitoring, procurement, and financial management.
* Oversee and coordinate workstreams involving external consultants and key income streams.
* Draft reports, briefings, and business cases for management and cabinet members.
* Ensure compliance with corporate processes, policies, and financial regulations.
