Job Description Summary
Responsible for technical and constructability review of all Mechanical & Electrical design. Supervise and coordinate the on-site M&E installation activities by internal and subcontracted resources, to ensure cost‑effective execution of the project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
General Information
We are looking for a Site M&E Supervisor to join our HVDC team at Client energy. The Site M&E Supervisor will coordinate and inspect the M&E installation works throughout its scope of delivery and report to the Civil Construction Manager as part of the Site Management team.
Responsibilities
* Supports the engineering activities related to M&E, contributing constructability insights and best practices.
* Reviews M&E ITPs and ITRs and all technical submissions from subcontractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
* Coordinates on‑site M&E installation activities in line with the project delivery schedule to assure cost‑effective execution.
* Supports the Civil Construction Manager in making detailed working plans with subcontractors, including local resources, equipment, suppliers, and milestones.
* Revises and updates all documentation related to the M&E scope and ensures the latest revisions are used on site.
* Monitors and inspects M&E installation activities to ensure required quality according to standards and specifications.
* Leads or participates in site meetings related to the M&E scope with customers, subcontractors, and Hitachi Energy site personnel.
* Prepares and coordinates M&E related red‑marked drawings with subcontractors and engineering.
Qualifications
* Engaged, structured, persistent, well‑organized, and driven team player.
* Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
* Ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment.
* Experience in industrial projects; experience in the energy sector is a plus.
* Flexibility and an open mindset are important for success in this role.
