As a Procurement Business Partner, you will work closely with Heads of Service supporting them in making decisions around commissioning, procurement, and contract management activities. You will also work on improving forward planning and procurement pipelines, whilst managing demand and prioritising contracts appropriately.
You will be responsible for managing a Procurement Officer and supporting them to create and apply procurement strategies and deliver a range of procurements - directly supporting the council's most strategic contracts and promoting sustainable, effective procurement practice.
At Bracknell Forest Council, we embrace hybrid and flexible working, so you can be based at home or in the office, depending on your preference. However, you will need to be within a reasonable commute of Bracknell for meetings in the office as and when required.

Are you a MCIPS qualified procurement professional ready to lead high-performing procurement practices across the council? You should be personable and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong and positive relationships internally with your stakeholders.
As our Procurement Business Partner, you will also have a detailed understanding of the procurement and commissioning lifecycle, be able to adopt a strategic business partnering approach to support the development and delivery of a strategic sourcing pipeline, whilst managing demand and prioritising contracts appropriately.
