ABOUT YOU Youre a confident and organised leader with a strong background in laboratory-based work, ideally within chemistry or a closely related field. With experience guiding or supporting teams, youre comfortable balancing hands-on technical involvement with oversight of people and processes. You communicate clearly, whether youre supporting colleagues, engaging with clients, or sharing technical insight, and you take pride in maintaining high standards across everything you do. Youre proactive when it comes to developing others, ensuring team members have the knowledge and support they need to succeed, and youre equally committed to working safely and responsibly in line with established procedures. Required skills and experience: Degree or similar in chemistry, or relevant experience gained in a related laboratory-based role. Supervisory experience in analytical & material testing environment preferred Good communication skills Experience working in an accredited laboratory would be an advantage.
