Job Description
3. Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise excess.
4. Utilise ERP/MRP systems, such as Oracle, for material planning and scheduling.
5. Generate and analyse data reports using advanced Excel functions.
6. Coordinate with stakeholders to align material requirements with production schedules.
7. Identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
8. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
10. Maintain accurate records of inventory and material planning activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Material Planner should have:
11. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle) for effective material planning
12. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
13. Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning principles
14. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
15. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
16. Strong time management and organisational abilities to meet deadlines
17. Significant relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control (3-5 years preferred)
