The Role:
1. Deliver engaging and inspiring Art and/or Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
2. Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum
3. Encourage creativity, practical skills, and independent thinking
4. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
5. Support pupils in developing their artistic and technical abilities
This Role Would Suit:
6. ECTs who have not yet secured a permanent position and are looking to build experience
7. Experienced teachers seeking flexibility or a better work-life balance
8. Teachers returning to the classroom
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
10. A degree in Art, Design Technology, or a related subject
11. Recent experience teaching within the UK curriculum (placements accepted for ECTs)
12. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
13. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
