About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and some IT skills. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative is responsible for ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. This includes carrying out audits, maintaining records, and performing tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. The role requires recognizing signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, attending safeguarding training, and knowing how to report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
