Job Vacancy: Traffic Design Engineer
Location: Bristol
Contract: Initial 6-month
Rate: £30 p/hour
Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end scheme designs for highways and junction improvements, including drainage, lighting, and traffic signals.
* Prepare construction information and Health & Safety documentation in line with CDM Regulations.
* Liaise with the public, councillors, and stakeholders during consultations and support legal processes for Traffic Regulation Orders.
* Supervise junior staff and contribute to team objectives and project delivery timelines.
What We're Looking For
* Strong working knowledge of DMRB, TSRGD, CDM Regulations, and highways construction standards.
* Proven experience managing budgets, monitoring programmes, and providing design support through construction phases.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills.
