Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client makes a label-friendly shelf-life extender that addresses microbial spoilage (antimicrobials, fermenters & blends) to reduce food loss and waste and help food and beverage manufacturers optimize production costs and foster consumer loyalty.
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a fantastic employer in Beaminster who values diversity and inclusion.
This role would be suited to someone with previous experience within a production environment, ideally within food, who has a high level of reliability.

What will I be doing?
1. Compliance with Health & Safety requirements
2. Compliance with FSSC & IFF Policy
3. Provide a service to production, performing planned maintenance and servicing of the mechanical and electrical installation
4. Daily, weekly, monthly checks and service schedules
5. Be part of site project teams and contribute to their success
6. Continually monitor plant operation and processes and identify any energy saving measures which can be taken that will not affect plant efficiency, operation or reliability.
7. Constantly monitor maintenance procedures and identify any cost saving measures which can be taken that will not affect plant efficiency, operation or reliability.
8. As part of an ongoing process, identify any improvements that can be made to equipment that will in the short or long term increase the efficiency and reliability of the plant and/or its operation.

Working Hours:
This role is on a rota basis, please find a below example. This role does require flexibility to cover colleagues shifts where needed.
Week 1 – Monday-Wednesday nights & Saturday and Sunday days
Week 2 – Thursday and Friday days
Hours – Days – 6am-6pm | Nights – 6pm-6am
