* Manage the co-ordination of Cancer MDT Meetings.
* Monitor and report on all cancer patients.
* To update every day, the cancer waiting times database (Infoflex) for monitoring of the government cancer targets.
* To keep detailed timelines for all patients on the suspected cancer pathway and have the ability to keep these updated daily
* Collate and compare information from a variety of sources such as pathology, surgical, chemotherapy and radiotherapy reports.
* To have an extensive knowledge of the most up to date Cancer Waiting Times dataset and to use this knowledge to make appropriate adjustments to the patient pathway
* To communicate complex information/situations relating to patient pathways to a wide range of health professionals and use own initiative to seek professional advice as needed and autonomously act upon that information.

Qualifications / Training
Essential criteria
* 5 GCSE or equivalent (including English and Maths)
* Excellent written and presentation skills
* Excel, Databases, Word
* Computer Literate
Desirable criteria
* RSA typing or eqivalent
Previous Experience
Essential criteria
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment with a varied range of staff from consultant to clinic clerk
* Ability to prioritize workload and work to tight deadlines
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience working in NHS/health related setting
* Ability to use patient administration systems such as Lorenzo, Cerner, PAS
* Experience within the NHS in Cancer Services
Skills
Essential criteria
* Excellent organisational skills and good time management
* Ability to work well under pressure with a flexible approach to work
* Ability to work accurately and methodically with a strong attention to detail

* Able to work both independently and within a team
