Description
Join Our Team as a Motor Claims Advisor – Drive Your Career Forward! The role of a Claims Advisor is to actively monitor credit hire and repair claims and ensure they are efficiently dealt with, and to undertake a variety of tasks to support the members of the team working on credit hire files.
Key Accountabilities
* Contacting organisations by telephone to ensure matters are progressing correctly
* Questioning repair and hire periods as appropriate to reduce overall hire days
* Dealing with queries from other parties
* Managing a diary to effectively deal with all matters in a timely fashion
* Updating Tracker by diarising records, court dates, directions, applications and orders, and general activity
* Liaising with Courts, Counsel, Opponents, Experts, Witnesses, Insureds and brokers to progress the case
* Following up on outstanding instructions, documents and other actions to ensure responses are received within required timescales
* Chasing clients to ensure payments are received and dispatched within required deadlines
* Diarising and updating CRU
* Ensuring compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
* Education – at least 3 GCSEs or equivalent are essential
* Ability to use own initiative
* Ability to prioritise workloads
* Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
* Good telephone negotiation skills
* Ability to follow work processes and procedures
* Ability to remain calm under pressureCompetent IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Working Hours
35 hours per week worked 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, with 1 hour for lunch.
