We are currently recruiting for a results driven Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll business partner the GPO Sales team responsible for providing finance support to over 35 sales colleagues. The GPO environment is complex and evolving rapidly so requires a dynamic, resilient individual who is comfortable partnering stakeholders to drive future growth and provide insight to help inform future strategy. Profitable growth will be a key focus, whilst maintaining strong internal controls at all times.
This is a well-supported role for a qualified finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. This role offers flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days based in our Ashford office (Kent) for team collaboration and meetings, so ideally you will be within a commutable distance, but remote working will be considered.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Business partnering the GPO team.
* Attend regular meetings both with the Sales and Finance teams which will include monthly P&L reviews and quarterly finance performance reviews.
* Leveraging analysis / insight into deliverable guidance / recommendations to Sales & Finance leaders.
* Facilitate the Forecast, Budget, and Flash submissions.
* Collaborating with sales colleagues to ensure that new opportunities / retentions are financially viable (using financial evaluation models).
* Responsible for the creation of rebate reconciliations.
* Review and understand customer contracts.
* Produce reports / presentations as required to drive business results.
* Developing of models to provide insight on key sales & margin information across all the Commercial teams.
* Investigate and resolve queries.
* Clear understanding of the drivers of actual weekly and monthly results compared to forecast/budget and prior year.
* Support the wider Independent Finance team as required
* Act as an ambassador for finance promoting cross functional collaboration and understanding.
About you:
You’ll be a qualified accountant in CIMA, ACCA or ACA and be able to drive performance through insight. Someone with strong business partnering skills across all levels with the confidence and ability to understand trends and results. A high level of competency in financial analysis and modelling is essential. This role will require you to flex to different audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships so you must be comfortable with feedback and react with broad thinking. A great role for someone who has a history of adding value, likes using insight to drive profitable growth and has the enthusiasm to strive for continuous improvement. We are looking for an individual who is highly numerate with an advanced level of Microsoft Excel, who enjoys working towards tight deadlines in an agile commercial environment.
