Position Summary
This role involves providing direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients per shift and at the unit level. The role supervises staff to whom care is delegated and supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal and communication skills and serve as a role model and advocate for nursing.
Qualifications
Education
* Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
* Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Certifications
* Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice nursing as mandated by law or regulation; CPR certification.
