Location: AbergavennyStart Date: ASAPPosition: Full-time / Part-time available

We are currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in the Abergavenny area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain or expand their experience within education.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher. You will ensure students remain engaged, focused, and complete the work provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Support and motivate students to stay on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have experience delivering lessons or leading pre-set classes
• Have previously worked in mentoring, coaching, youth work, or similar roles (not necessarily within education)
• Are confident managing groups of young people
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are reliable, proactive, and adaptable
