The Position – Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working full-time within a supportive primary school, providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance. You will support children in managing their behaviour, improving their social skills, and engaging positively with learning. Your responsibilities will include implementing behaviour support plans, working closely with the SENCO and class teachers, monitoring pupil progress, and acting as a positive role model. You will help create a structured and nurturing environment that promotes self-regulation, confidence, and resilience. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, consistent in their approach, and confident supporting pupils with SEMH needs. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.
