Our client is currently recruiting for an Electronics Supervisor. Based in Barrow-in-Furness, the role will be on a permanent (staff) basis. ROLE The primary objective of the Electronic Supervisor is to oversee and manage the electronic systems within the workshop, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of subsea equipment, this will include a significant portion of time being hands on delivery of products for projects. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations as well as managing all aspects of the Electronic workshop within the Barrow site. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Inspection and Troubleshooting: Inspect electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently. Understanding of the principles of fault finding. Team Management: Manage and assign tasks to electricians and other team members, providing guidance and training on best practices.
