About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Before & After School Club Supervisor to join the CALMS team at Leyland Methodist Schools. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to help lead a vibrant wraparound care provision for children aged 411 years.
Working alongside the Club Manager and school leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering engaging activities, supporting staff, and ensuring children receive high-quality care in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Position Details
* Role: CALMS Before & After School Club Supervisor
* Hours: 21 hours 15 minutes per week
* Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour
* Location: Leyland Methodist Schools

What Youll Be Doing
As Club Supervisor, you will:
* Lead and support a team of club assistants
* Plan and deliver creative, stimulating activities for children
* Ensure a safe, inclusive and caring environment
* Support children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers and school staff
* Assist with staff development, training and recruitment
* Support day-to-day administration and booking systems
* Promote positive behaviour and uphold club policies

What Were Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
* Has experience working with children aged 411
* Has previous experience in a childcare leadership or senior role
* Holds a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3, NNEB or equivalent)
* Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Is organised, proactive and able to lead by example
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Brings creativity, positivity and energy to their work
A current Paediatric First Aid qualification and knowledge of OFSTED requirements would be advantageous.
