The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are kept to a high standard, contributing to tenant satisfaction and property value.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including joinery, painting and decorating
* Address plumbing and drainage issues
* Undertake external maintenance and minor building repairs.
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and stock levels.
* Liaise with tenants to diagnose issues and provide updates on repairs.
* Liaise with and schedule external contractors when necessary.
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance as required.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard, in line with regulations.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in property maintenance or trade is essential.
* A strong understanding of property maintenance requirements and best practices.
* Excellent practical and problem -solving skills
* Ability to manage your own time effectively and priorities tasks.
* A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* A proactive and "can-do" attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Inspecting properties to identify issues and provide solutions.
* Experience using a variety of tools and equipment.
* A full UK driving license is required.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential):
* Familiarity with property management systems (Arthur)
* Basic knowledge of electrical ,gas and plumbing systems
