Pastoral Support: Offer one-to-one and small-group mentoring to support students’ emotional well-being and resilience.
*
Behaviour Strategies: Implement and model effective behaviour management techniques, liaising with staff and parents to ensure consistency.
*
Attendance Monitoring: Track attendance and punctuality, producing reports and working collaboratively with families to improve engagement.
*
Progress Support: Identify areas where students are struggling and work with teaching and leadership teams to design supportive interventions.
*
Community Relationships: Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies to create a holistic support network.
*
Student Development: Encourage student leadership and personal growth, promoting positive values across the school community.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience supporting young people, ideally within a school or youth setting.
*
Excellent communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
*
A calm, confident approach to managing challenging situations.
*
A solid understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to student welfare.
*
The drive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
If you are an enthusiastic, caring, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs, we’d love to hear from you
