The right candidate will be supported with three months supernumerary status to fully develop themselves into a Renal Support Nurse capable of cannulating patients, commencing dialysis, ongoing observation and termination of dialysis. There will also be the opportunity to help support the outpatient renal clinics that we hold alongside the unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the commencement, continuing care and termination of dialysis for a group of patients alongside a registered member of staff. They will also be expected to work in our renal outpatient department assisting in the clinic.

Previous experience in a health or social care setting at NVQ level 2
Dialysis experience
NVQ level 2 in Healthcare and willingness to undertake training at level 3.
