At Northpoint, we’re excited to share an exciting part-time opportunity for a Deputy Operational Team Manager, Primary Care Mental Health based in Leeds!
We’re proud to be part of the Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS), a collaborative initiative bringing together IAPT services and primary care mental health support across Leeds. Working alongside around 200 colleagues across seven operational teams, together we’re able to support up to 28,000 people with complex mental health needs every year.
We’re looking for a proactive and inspiring Deputy Operational Team Manager to work alongside our hub management team, to lead practitioners and administrators and shape the smooth running of our service, with people at the centre of everything we do.
Why choose Northpoint?
We’re a trusted, values-led charity with a bold vision for mental health. Working hand-in-hand with local partners, schools, health services, and national programmes, we bring a joined-up, person-centred approach that makes a meaningful difference to the children, young people, and adults we support.
Our offer to you:
* 21-hour part-time working week, with hybrid options - giving you flexibility to balance work and home life
* 28 days holiday (pro-rata) plus 3 extra days over Christmas - time to rest, recharge, and enjoy a proper break
* Ongoing professional development - we invest in you, so you can keep building your skills
* Flexible working and a supportive, inclusive culture - where your wellbeing and voice really matter
What you’ll do:
* Lead daily service operations and provide expert guidance on operational, clinical and safeguarding issues
* Manage and support the team through line management, supervision, and professional development
* Drive recruitment and implement practice guidelines to uphold service excellence
* Build strong external partnerships and champion inclusive, accessible services that reach disadvantaged communities
What you’ll bring:
* Experience supporting mental health or therapy services, with a confident, compassionate approach
* Natural leadership and people skills to guide and energise a diverse team
* Sound judgement in complex safeguarding and risk situations
* A passion for equity, inclusion, and collaborative working with partners
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact as a Deputy Operational Team Manager and be a vital part of a team transforming mental health support, we’d love to hear from you.
