About us
Equinox is a brand experience agency creating exhibition environments for some of the world's most recognisable names. Strategy, design, production, and build all sit under one roof, giving us the control to deliver work that is both creatively ambitious and flawlessly executed.
We don't just build stands, we create stages for brands to perform on a global level. Every project is a test of imagination, creativity, and craft. The people who thrive here are the ones who see detail as the difference between good and extraordinary.
The role
You will own the artwork journey from brief to print-ready output. This is not a design role. It is an important role that protects brand integrity at scale. You will translate artwork files into production-ready assets, keep specs watertight across complex stands, and make sure every panel, banner, lightbox and more prints exactly as intended.
What you will do:
* Preflight and prepare client supplied files for large format print and production.
* Validate specs across full stand packs, elevations, and zone plans.
* Check resolution at final scale, bleed, safe areas, trim, overprint, spot colours, and ICC profiles.
* Confirm Pantone and brand colour accuracy, advise on CMYK conversions and fabric shifts.
* Produce clean, version controlled output lists and file naming that match drawing references.
* Liaise with 3D, design, project management, graphics workshop, and suppliers to hold dates and quality.
* Run scale checks against dimensioned drawings, confirm panel splits and door clearances.
* Prepare signage layouts and wayfinding packs with accurate quantities and locations.
* Manage approvals and amendments, capture change logs, and keep the artwork tracker current.
* Issue press-ready PDFs with correct profiles per device and material.
* Support on-site if needed for last mile checks and emergency reprints.
You will thrive here if you:
* Have a sharp eye, you catch the 1 mm misalign that others miss.
* Know your way around PDFs, AI, INDD, and EPS, or you are ready to learn fast.
* Work confidently on Mac with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and InDesign and Acrobat preflight.
* Understand large format print principles, RIP basics, profile selection and resolution.
* Communicate clearly with creative and technical teams, and keep calm when multiple projects converge.
* Handle deadlines without dropping the detail or breaking a sweat.
Diversity makes us stronger
We believe the best ideas come from different perspectives and lived experiences. Creativity thrives in inclusive teams. If this role excites you but your path looks different from what's listed, we still want to hear from you. Potential matters as much as experience.
The role offers:
* Training in exhibition artwork processes and material behaviour.
* A collaborative and close knit team that treats production as a craft.
* Real-world impact, see your work in-person on the show floor, not just on a screen.
* 25 days holiday (excl. bank holidays), pension, life assurance.
