The school provides a highly nurturing, structured learning environment and is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with Autism and SEMH needs across primary and secondary phasesProvide 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils access learningUse de-escalation strategies and promote positive behaviourWork collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and therapistsHelp create a safe, positive and inclusive environmentSupport pupils with communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (Autism, SEMH, complex needs or challenging behaviour)A calm, resilient and empathetic approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamA valid Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Why Join This School?
