Growing Publishing Sales Company based near Edgware Road Tube Central London
The role is to act as FINANCE MANAGER, full time, in London office based not remote and working across two main trading companies with a combined turnover of c £8m pa. (Growth 25-30% pa).
PACKAGE £55k+ bonuses (more for exceptional candidate - depending on experience)
You will manage a Sales ledger person as well as finance assistant managing purchase ledger.
*Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
*Manage and maintain commission schedules for staff and contractors
*prepare all ledgers to trial balance to enable CFO to prepare monthly management accounts
*Lead the team and be responsible for accounting, payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.
*Drive the continuous improvement of end to end accounting practices.
You will report into part time CFO.
Must have
* The capability to turn complex data into logical formats.
* Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
* Ability to manage cashflows across 3 legal entities
* The ability to prioritise and have good time management skills.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Minimum 4 working years of XERO
* Possess sound technical skills and a high level of numeracy.
* Enthusiasm to obtain new skills and knowledge.
* The ability to accept criticism and to be challenged on your advice.
* Excel skills must include pivot tables. Financial modelling an advantage
* Excellent team management skills and strong leadership qualities.
* Be capable in managing the work of others and to delegate where needed.
* The ability to resolve conflicts or issues that arise between team members.
Qualifications:
Previous financial controller role in smaller company or assistant FC in larger company.
ACCA/CIMA qualified a prerequisite
5 years work experience required
Able to work legally in the UK without visa
Good written and spoken English.
