What the role looks like as a Teaching Assistant
You’ll assist pupils throughout lessons, help teachers with classroom tasks and create a welcoming, structured atmosphere. You’ll be joining a supportive staff team who value good communication and a positive approach.
Your main duties as a Teaching Assistant
* Supporting learning across the classroom
* Helping pupils who need extra encouragement or guidance
* Assisting with resources, activities and daily routines
* Building positive relationships with pupils of all abilities
* Working closely with teachers, SEND staff and other Tas
You’ll be a good match as a Teaching Assistant if you
* Have experience with children or young people
* Are patient, encouraging and adaptable
* Can communicate clearly and supportively
* Work well as part of a team
* Hold an enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
