Job title: Field Sales Account Manager
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (uncapped commission, typical OTE of £60,000 - £90,000)
Location: Northwest region and Wigan (base location in Wigan)
Role Overview
Role is in the field working with a portfolio of our existing customers with the principal task being to ensure that they realise the full benefits of our products and services. The person should be a natural go-getter with the ability to nurture, retain and grow our existing customer portfolio. Additionally, the person must care about our customers and clearly and convincingly articulate what other business offerings and benefits we can provide which, in turn, will support company growth.
Priority Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of customers & provide excellent customer service experience.
* Grow your portfolio by identifying sales opportunities with customers.
* Ensure all customer renewals are delivered successfully & any competitor activity is positively challenged.
* Implement price rises when required.
* Understand your customers’ requirements and propose solutions to match their needs.
* Provide on-going effective account management support, through regular customer care reviews.
* Develop, manage, and control your sales pipeline so sales targets can be achieved and exceeded.
* Maintain activity reports through the company CRM system. Achieve set monthly activity KPI targets.
* Develop strong business relationships with customers, branch personnel, support function and peers across the business.
* Work with colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are met, and any issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
* Conduct customer product demonstrations & training, if requested.
* Manage your geographic area with regard travel planning and meetings; being mindful of personal & customer health & safety requirements.
* Participate in sales and corporate events and campaigns, as necessary.
* Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve the company brand and reputation.

Baseline Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years in industry or service setting with experience in managing and growing customer portfolios.
* Customer orientated experience with track record of negotiating, solution selling and KPI driven to deliver sales targets.
* Demonstrates an ability to adapt to change and make decisions quickly.
* Familiarity with field sales management and some knowhow in sales analytics and forecasting.
* Proven history presenting to customers and negotiate and influence key decision makers.
* Valid clean Driving Licence.
