Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Fully office-based

We are currently seeking a confident and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our office-based team and contribute to our continued success.

Role Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
Process incoming orders, returns, and general account queries
Update and maintain accurate records on CRM and order management systems
Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, sales, and finance to resolve customer queries
Handle delivery issues, product enquiries, and service complaints in a professional manner
Support account managers and provide administrative support as required
Continuously look for ways to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction

Key Requirements

Experience in a customer service, administration, or sales support role
Strong communication skills with a polite, helpful, and professional manner
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
Strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service

Desirable:

Experience using CRM or ERP/order processing systems
Background in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based industry
