Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2BX £36,124 - £42,708 per annum (pro rata) Part Time, 22.2 hours per week, over 3 days Fixed Term or Secondment opportunity for 6 months Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered. What we are looking for We are looking for a Shared Ownership Officer to join our Development Team. To be successful, you will share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities. About the role In this important role, you will: lead on managing the sales and marketing process for new build shared ownership across the two districts work with internal colleagues, developers/contractors, sales agents and Solicitors overseeing the handover, conveyancing and completion of new build shared ownership and market homes provide the professional lead on shared ownership across the two districts in relation to new policy, practice, and implementation ensure internal processes for the delivery of shared ownership properties and market homes meet customer expectations and demands take the lead and responsibility for staircasing and re-sale of shared ownership properties About you We are looking for someone with relevant experience of: the property management and or housing field the legal process in relation to property transactions working in a customer focused environment and resolving issues for customers developing partnerships and collaborating with others to achieve an agreed outcome You will need to have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences including Members, Contractors, Developers and Customers. Sound organisational skills and the ability to organise your own workload are also essential for this role.
