Freelance Social Community Manager – Remote, Freelance
Rate: £17 per hour
Location: Work from home
Hours: Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Are you a social media enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a passion for community engagement? We’re looking for a Freelance Social Community Manager to join our team and help monitor and manage online interactions for our clients. This is a remote, home-based role offering flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and @mentions across various clients' social media platforms
* Ensure brand tone of voice and messaging guidelines are followed in all interactions
* Engage with audiences, fostering positive conversations and community growth
* Identify and escalate potential issues or trends to the appropriate team members
* Provide concise and accurate reporting on engagement and community sentiment
About you:
* Previous experience in social media management, community moderation, or customer engagement
* Excellent written communication skills with a professional and friendly tone
* Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
* Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
* Available to take on shifts between the hours of 9am and 9pm on various days per week - we have a special need for cover on weekday evenings from 5-9pm and Saturdays 9am to 2pm.
