We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking Mental Health Act Approved Clinician & Consultant Practitioner to work within our Dementia and Older Persons ward at Longreach House, Redruth.

We have a proven track record in training and deploying ACs safely and sustainably within Cornwall, realizing the clinical benefits of this role for our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as Responsible Clinician (RC) for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA), 1983, with accountability for care delivery and clinical decisions.
* Provide highly specialised, evidence-based care within crisis teams and inpatient settings.
* Collaborate with existing ACs to determine the most appropriate allocation of RC roles.
* Develop roles to be RC for CTO patients.
* Offer expert advice to meet patient needs by leading, challenging, and changing practice.
* Foster an environment of continuous clinical improvement and problem solving.
* Support the development and embedding of Multi-professional Approved Clinician (MPAC) roles and provide guidance for trainee MPACs.
