The Role
Our Biopharma team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Sales Account Executive to grow institutional sales of our scientific video journal and databases to biopharma companies worldwide. If you are ambitious, results-driven, and skilled at developing relationships with researchers and progressing opportunities, this position could be ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities, develop a sales pipeline, and manage the full sales cycle with assigned biopharma accounts.
* Meet or exceed new business targets.
* Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with biopharma librarians, R&D leadership, and stakeholders.
* Build and implement a persistent outbound sales strategy, including cold calls and emails, to generate interest and accelerate new business.
* Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to tailor marketing activities and support each account.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of direct sales experience with stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industries.
* Proven ability to influence decision-makers and manage a full sales cycle.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, goal setting, and achieving results.
* Strong problem-solving skills to address customer questions and objections.
* Drive to succeed, resilience, and ability to overcome challenges.
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and MS Office.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%.
