VANRATH has partnered with one of Northern Ireland's most established family-run car dealerships. The organization is recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic position. This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced individual in the Motor Industry to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.
Location: Bangor
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 packages based on experience + fantastic benefits, including a company pension scheme, 30 days holidays, and overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks
2. Carry out diagnostic procedures to determine faults
3. Inspect vehicles according to current regulations
4. Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturer processes
5. Keep legible and accurate records and paperwork
The Ideal Candidate:
* Ability to work with up-to-date technology using the latest repair methods and processes
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* Participation in manufacturer training programmes
* Good oral and written communication skills, along with IT skills
* Experience in a similar role at franchised retailer level
* Full and valid UK driving license
