We are currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Tamworth (B79) for a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join their busy manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stable employment, ongoing training, and the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful probationary period.
Hours of Work: 06:00 to 16:30
4 days per week (Monday to Friday rotation) (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (£12.71 from 1st April)
£0.43 per hour pay increase after successful probation
Duties and Responsibilities: Loading and unloading machinery
Machine minding
Weighing stock and materials
Moving stock and manual handling items up to 20kg
Palletising products ready for shipment
Labelling and managing goods-out processes
The Candidate: Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable and dependable with excellent timekeeping
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Committed to maintaining high standards of attendance and performance
Previous experience in a similar environment
FLT Counterbalance Licence (Ideal but not essential)
A temporary-to-permanent opportunity is available for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and the ability to learn processes effectively.
