What youll do:

* Oversee and verify compliance with Health & Safety regulations across all departments
* Prepare and regularly review risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
* Attend monthly meetings and present relevant Health & Safety data
* Assist on investigations of incidents, and near misses; compile reports and suggest corrective actions
* Ensure all health and safety documentation is up to date, including policies, procedures, and audit records
* Maintain records of safety-related incidents and produce statistics for management
* Support the development and implementation of emergency procedures and evacuation plans
* Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practice
What you need to succeed:
*
* A degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred OR a degree and 2 years relevant experience OR 5 years relevant experience.
* Experience within a similar H&S role
* Understanding of HSE legislation and regulations
* Experience with RAMS, auditing, reporting
* Good communication skills
* IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
Desirable Criteria
*
* IOSH Membership
* Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH) preferred
* Additional H&S certifications preferred
* Full clean driving license
