We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced podiatrist to join our Health in Justice (HiJ) Musculoskeletal (MSK) team, on a part‑time basis, at HMP Bullingdon. This is a category B/C men’s prison near Bicester in Oxfordshire.
This role is 3 sessions per month; a total of 12 hours a month. Salary is between £40,000 – £49,000 pro‑rota depending on experience.
Secure environments are one of the most challenging but rewarding places for healthcare practitioners to work. If you are looking to develop your skills, learn something new and challenge yourself in a different environment, this could be the role for you. You will be supported by a Regional Team Lead and Clinical Lead so that, if the prison environment is new to you, support will be available to help you settle in.
We also believe in a good work–life balance, so the hours can be worked flexibly around your other commitments.

* Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being proactive in the management of foot, ankle and lower extremity conditions and motivate the wider team to identify patients at high risk.
* Forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcare team and the wider Health in Justice Service.
* Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list and work as an autonomous practitioner.
