Our client is seeking a proactive Temporary Finance Assistant to join their finance team within a busy construction company based in Cardiff.
The successful candidate will support key financial operations, with a primary focus on purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and credit control.
Responsibilities:
Process and maintain the purchase ledger, including matching, batching, and coding invoices
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Assist with credit control tasks, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining customer accounts
Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Immediately available
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of purchase ledger and bank reconciliation processes
Good communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
