As a Trust we were excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley. In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward's opened its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.
We are now seeking a teacher of maths (with responsibility) to join our expanding team and become a key player in the development and success of Trinity Academy St Edward's. This role is such an exciting opportunity to contribute to a successful team as it further enhances its curriculum and reputation to deliver outstanding outcomes at Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will work closely with the curriculum leader ensuring that the curriculum offer at Key Stage 3 remains strong and will assist in the planning and delivery of our curriculum at Key Stage 4 with other team members.
You will be able to access support from existing staff and other leaders across Trinity East and beyond. You will also contribute to the development of maths across Trinity East, and we will offer you effective and personalised CPD to enhance your pedagogical knowledge. Trinity Academy St Edward's (TASE) opened our doors to a founding cohort in September 2021. Since then TASE has quickly established itself as the school of choice in Barnsley, being oversubscribed the past three years. The academy now has a cohort of 720 students and has just moved into a new £25 million pound, 18-acre site.
