We're working with a successful, employee-owned food business that has seen impressive growth over the last few years. Supplying all the major UK retailers and foodservice customers with a mix of branded and own-label products, they have built their reputation on quality, innovation, and a strong people-first culture.
They are now looking to appoint a Category Insights Executive / Manager to join their commercial team. Reporting into the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for delivering detailed insights and market analysis to support customer engagement and drive category growth. From spotting trends and building compelling, data-led presentations to providing competitor analysis and recommendations, you'll be at the heart of shaping commercial strategy.
This role offers real visibility across the business and close collaboration with teams in sales, procurement, supply chain, and marketing. It's a chance to bring your analytical skills into an ambitious, supportive environment where your work will be noticed and your career can grow.
What we're looking for:
* Degree educated (2:1 or above), ideally in a data or numerical subject
* At least 1 year of experience in data analytics within food or FMCG
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to bring data to life
* Ideally, experience with platforms such as Circana, Nielsen, and/or Kantar
* A detail-focused, analytical thinker who enjoys collaboration and has the confidence to work independently when needed
