Job Introduction
The Tools & Enablement Planner will be responsible for supporting the UK sales team over the next 9 months (until 1st July) with the roll out of an improved Sales Force Automation (SFA) system as part of a key global project in William Grant & Sons. Working with the UK sales team, the new system vendor and wider global project team they will implement a test & feedback process to deliver a seamless transition to new SFA system in Spring. Training and supporting the team through the implementation and embedding phases of the project.
Main Responsibility
Reporting into the Head of Sales Operations and working closely with the other 2 members of the Sales Operations team this role will be responsible for leading the testing and supporting the launch and roll out of the new SFA system for the UK On Trade team. Key task include,
1. Working with our global technology team to ensure the smooth transfer of the existing UK data base into the new system.
2. Test & trial of the system to fit UK team needs, coordinating feedback from team members and feeding back to the vendor for review.
3. Updating UK and global stakeholders on progress.
4. Supporting training of UK team with our Commercial Academy colleagues.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner of systems and processes and ideally an understanding of Sales Force Automation systems or database management. A proven problem solver who thrives in identifying and understanding problems and suggesting solutions. As one of the conduits between the UK market, the global business unit and the external vendor, strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to suit varying types of stakeholders is essential.
