Job Description:
The Strategic Initiatives Office is a dedicated team responsible for planning, implementing, and managing change management across GDO, with a critical focus on strategic initiatives. The office sets standards and collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective change implementation, enabling benefits realization.
The Senior Manager for Change Management plays a key role in establishing standards and guidance for successful change. They are responsible for deploying the Strategic Initiatives Office change approach, focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures. They apply the Prosci change management process and tools to develop and execute strategies that maximize adoption and minimize resistance.

* Proven change management background with experience in delivering change for large-scale transformations from design to handover to BAU.
* Strategic thinking and design skills, along with experience in developing engaging communications and training programs.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in leading and managing teams and projects.
What will be your key responsibilities?
* Design and lead the change strategy and plan for the Strategic Initiatives Office, establishing standards and guidance for successful change and overseeing the deployment of the change approach. Support the SIO Lead by managing performance and results.
* Own and maintain the Strategic Initiatives Office change methodology, tools, and reporting, ensuring alignment with the Change CoE and the MGS Strategic Portfolio Office.
* Lead and manage change initiatives using the Mars Prosci methodology, covering design, planning, communication, training, and stakeholder management.
* Provide clarity and raise awareness of the Strategic Initiatives Office offerings among key stakeholders and the wider change network.
* Offer dedicated change support across strategic initiatives, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks.
* Collaborate with project management to integrate change management activities into project/program plans.
* Act as a coach for senior leaders, helping them fulfill their roles as change sponsors, and support managers in guiding their teams through transitions.
* Manage an aggregated view of change impacts to inform decision-making, mitigate change collision/saturation, and track/report results.
