Join Our Team as a People Advisor!
Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to contribute to a dynamic team? Our client, a leading insurance organisation based in, Glasgow, is looking for a dedicated People Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is just a short 7-minute walk from Charing Cross train station, making it conveniently accessible for all!
What You'll Do:
As a People Advisor, you will be instrumental in delivering effective HR services and providing essential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining up-to-date employee records.
Supporting the People Administration Manager in providing advice on employment law and company policies.
Conducting meetings related to Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave, and facilitating return-to-work interviews.
Keeping the People Team informed about upcoming legislation from ACAS and government resources.
Assisting in drafting offer letters, contracts of employment, and ensuring compliance with right-to-work regulations.
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee data at all times.
Collaborating on ad-hoc projects to support the Group's initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Ensure all documentation is accurate and approved before distribution.
Provide timely and effective communication with employees and managers.
Maintain organised personnel files and assist in background checks for new joiners.
Support the onboarding process for new employees and oversee exit interviews.
Keep the People Team's systems, including BambooHR and Timetastic, up-to-date.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A Human Resources qualification or 18-24 months of HR experience.
Strong integrity and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships across all levels of the organisation.
A proactive approach and the passion to learn and grow within the HR field.
